The boat is full of fuel when you pick it up and you do need to return it full. On the lake you can fill up at any of the marinas: Wahweap, Antelope Point, Stateline, or Dangling Rope. For your last fill up you want to fill up on land as it is a lot cheaper and that way you can make sure the boat is completely full. Most gas pumps stop at $75 or $100 so you may have to run the pump more than once to get the boat completely full. Our boats take 91 octane or premium when available.
You do not need a boating license to rent from us or operate the watercraft. However, you must be 21 and have a valid drivers license. All boat operators must be 21.
For PWC operator age requirements and education please visit Utah youth PWC education course.
For adult boater's safety and education please visit Utah education courses.
If you don't have a vehicle that will tow one of our boats, you can rent a truck from us for an additional $85. If you are going to be out on the lake for more than one day we do require that you return the truck to us so that we can use it while you are out on the water. It is a one-time fee of $85. We also have the license to launch and retrieve the boat for you for an additional fee.
Yes, we can launch and retrieve the boat for you for an additional fee and based upon availability. We only offer launch and retrieve to Wahweap Marina. We do not offer service to Antelope Point Marina.
You must come to our facility before the boat is delivered to the launch ramp. We will not meet you at the ramp until paperwork and orientation has been completed at our facility.
We can also rent you a tow vehicle for $85 which would allow you to launch and retrieve the boat yourself if you do not have a truck equipped to do so.
It is the law that kids ages 12 and under wear a life jacket at all times. If riding a PWC, life jackets must be worn by everyone at all times. Life jackets save lives so it never hurts to wear one required or not.
Of course! There are no camping restrictions on Lake Powell except for by Rainbow Bridge. Anywhere you see a sandy beach feel free to park the boat and camp the night away. You will need a porta potti for camping so if your boat is not already equipped with one, please make sure you get one from us.
Yes, you can sleep on the boat although we don't guarantee comfort. The two boats best for sleeping on are the 26' Chaparral and the 23' Chaparral.
If the boat breaks down due to a mechanical failure that is not your fault, we will do everything we can to make it right. We will get you a replacement boat or give you a refund. Legally we will not be able to come out on the water and assist you for any reason. This is due to the National Park laws. Therefore, we will have to contact the concessionaire and have them assist you. Mechanical failures are handled on a case by case basis. Please notify us the moment you have any problems. If there are any problems caused by the renter, the renter will be responsible for paying for any and all damages and towing.
You are given an extra 15 minutes when returning the boat. If you are later than 15 minutes we will charge you $60 per hour until the boat is returned.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer insurance to the renter. You are not required to have insurance on the watercraft. If this is something you do want, please look into your auto, homeowners, or credit card. Sometimes they will cover a watercraft rental. It is best to set this up beforehand as it can take awhile to gather the required information.
It never hurts to have a map. You can purchase one from us or if you would like to have one before hand, we recommend the Stan Jones' map of Lake Powell which can purchased from Amazon. Currently, due to the lower water levels, we do not have an easy to read map that is accurate. The Stan Jone's map works great for buoy reference but does not show the lower water levels.
Our boats are not equipped with GPS or Fish Finders.
The weather at Lake Powell can be unpredictable and our top priority is the safety of our customers. If the weather predictions show a chance of high winds or rain, we may recommend rescheduling your reservation if availability allows or canceling your reservation altogether. Cancellation charges will be waived if weather conditions are a high risk for boaters. We reserve the right, solely at our discretion, to reschedule and/or cancel your reservation in the event of unpredictable weather.
If the weather is bad enough that we will not let you take the boat out, we will refund your $75 deposit. If you decide you don't want to go out we will not charge you for the rental but the $75 deposit will not be refunded. We do not give refunds for returning the boat early unless we can rent the boat out again.
No. Our rates are consistent throughout the season. We never increase our prices during holidays or peak season and our customers can rest assured they are always getting our best price. We only offer weekly discounts at this time. If you rent for 7 days or longer, you will receive one free day.
Yes. However, you must use a credit card or debit card for the security deposit when you pick up the watercraft.
The security deposit is $1,000 for each boat and $500 for each personal watercraft. Security deposits help cover problems or accidents that occur during a reservation, like low fuel, damages, missing equipment or an unreturned key. At time of rental, an authorization hold will be secured on the credit or debit card provided. These funds will not be available for your use. The authorization hold will be released when the equipment is returned in the same condition as you received it. The time it takes to release this additional authorization depends on your bank and is beyond the control of All-In Boat Rentals. The average transaction reversal is typically seen within 3 to 5 business days on a credit card and up to 21 days on a debit card.
No, we only offer a minimum of a one day rate. You are not required to use the watercraft for a full day but you will be required to pay for a full day.
